The FAQ
Do you Travel?
Yes! For clients located outside of the Gallatin Valley (Bozeman area), a travel fee will apply! Final costs will be discussed before the session is booked.
How many photos do I get?
I personally love to take tons of different types of photos during each session and have no problem sharing lots of pictures with clients. Photos will start at 50+ photos edited and delivered (usually many more than that). Weddings can range from 600-900 edited photos.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes! All of these photos are shot RAW and edited by me. I will spend countless hours going through all the photos taken, narrowing them down, and editing them!
Whats your turn around time?
My contract says no longer than 6 weeks from the day of the session for the gallery to be delivered to the client. If I can, it will be delivered sooner!
How do we book you?
You can go to the "contact me" page on this website and send me a message, email me, or DM me on Instagram and we can get something booked! If you have not received a response from me after a week please send another message as the first one may have gone to junk or gotten lost! I promise I am not ignoring you:)
Can you help us with planning locations?
Absolutely! If clients have a specific place they want photos taken that is great! If not, I am more than happy to give some location ideas that will fit the type of session you want!
How far out do you book?
For normal sessions, I like to stay within a year for booking dates because I know things are always changing. Weddings can be booked further out than normal sessions and can be worked with since lots of planning is required!
What should we wear?
Totally up to you and what you feel comfortable wearing! If you are having trouble deciding what to wear or just want to run an outfit by someone I would love to give you my input!
What time is best to shoot!
GOLDEN HOUR, GOLDEN HOUR, GOLDEN HOUR!!! This is my absolute favorite time of the day. This can either be before sunrise and a bit after or before sunset and a bit after. Having good lighting can make all the difference during a session. And don't worry, overcast days are also fine! I usually like to be at the location 1.5 hours before sunset so we can have all the time we need to capture the perfect pictures!
What if the weather is bad?
As many of us know, Montana is known for drastic weather changes. Unfortunately, we can't control it. Rain, snow, sun, storms, it can all add an amazing raw element to your photoshoot! If there are safety hazards, severe storms, road condiitons that don't allow travel, and just conditions in general that are not safe to be out in, we will reschedule. But a light rain or snow can always be worked with!
What if I have to cancel?
I require a 50% deposit one week before the date of the session. This deposit allows me to save your date and is non-refundable. This also means my cancelation policy is one week prior to the date of the session.
